Chino, Alicia Kelsey – “Snow Flower” Seedpot

Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) is a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil- built. The piece has a complex fine-line design in the center on the top. Extending outward are the geometric designs of a star. The design is complex and visually striking.  It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
